88 Metal palette - another swatch fest

Here we go again,  this time with the 88 Metal palette.  This one I purchased off the coastalscents website, when the 88 metal palette's were first released, I assume you can buy the imitation or non-branded ones on ebay now.  Just like the others the pans are the 5c peice size and  the colours do powder up easily like the 88 neutral.

However the finish on these is awesome they are gorgeous metallic sheens, with a few of the colours being duochrome,  in particular one of the pale pinks has a lovely blue duochrome to it.

So without any more ado, here is the palette and the swatch photos.

Hi Michelle,
It seems like a nice palette and your swatches look really good.
Did you use a primer or any kind of base underneath?

no, that was dry swatched with no primer, these ones are really pretty colours.

Great swatches!
I have this one, the only 88 palette I have :)
The last shade of row 9 is probably the best shade, ever! I have been looking for a clone :)

I'll have a think on that clone and see if I have anything that's close to it. I'm sure aromaleigh and heathersque would have had something, but both stores are gone now :(

That would be fantastic, thank you :)
Sad about both those MMU brands, really. I got Inglot one in a similar shade, it more pearl finish than metal, but close enough.

Su, I haven't found anything in my collection thats close, thats not either limited edition or by a brand that still exists :(

I do have a straight pigment in a colour very close to that though, so if you ever wanted it, I could custom blend up something for you.

Oh wow, that is so nice of you! Thank you :) I would love that!
I'll let you know when I move to Sydney. We will be in the same city then :)

no problems Su, do you have any idea when you are moving and what area you are going to?
